Baptisms at St Andrew
in the Parish of Leyland

Included are a small batch of records found at the end of a Leyland St Andrew Burials register. It was described as "A Register of Children of Dissenters & Papists said to be Xtned 1720 - 1744"

The "LDS Film" contained 2 versions of the parish register, Baptisms 1774 - 1795.

One was obviously the original, which was used, whereas the other was a copy and it was the copy that was used for the IGI. The second version has small but important differences compared to the original. But the problem was that the original register was missing a few pages which have been patched in from the other version of the register, Those entries can be identified by NOTE in the page number and in the comment field it says: [Obtained from copy of register].
