St Marie, Widnes

Baptism Registers start in 1861, but the church itself dates from 1862. Burials began in 1865. The building closed in 2007 and services are now held in the school hall.

A redevelopment project is underway to preserve this historic building, which was designed by the architect E.W.Pugin.
