St Thomas, Ashfield St, Wavertree
This church was built as a successor to St Thomas, Park Lane, which was officially closed on 31 December 1905. The incumbent (of St Thomas, Park Lane) transferred to the new district of St Thomas, Wavertree and for some years the congregation worshipped in a mission room in Wavertree. The foundation stone of the new church was laid in April 1909 and the church was consecrated early in December of that year.
