Baptisms recorded in the Register for 1760 - 1837

The main source for this transcription is a book entitled 'Copy Register', but which appears to have been made up of the following:
Copied entries for the period 1760 to 1792
Copied entries for 1793 to 1799 which refer to the original as 'old book'
Entries for 1799 to 1837 which state that they were never entered in any other book
The two earlier sections refer to the church as Mount St Chapel, whereas the last section refers to it as High Street Chapel, reflecting the change of street name.
The original register for 1793 to 1799 also exists, and has been used as an additional source; any differences between this and the copy register are noted.

There is a further Copy Register which contains copies of the entries from 1760 to 1857. This is referred to as Copy Register 2 in the transcription.
