   Permission was given in 1875 for Mary Stepleton-Bretherton to build a church on the Ditton Hall estate to be served by Jesuit priests.
   Officially opened 8 May 1879. Baptism registers from 1879, Marriages from 1880.

   Founded: 1956
   The original hut was demolished in 2006 and replaced with a brick building - the John Dalton Community Centre.

   Previously at Liverpool Road (formerly Bank Lane).
   The church was demolished and the site is now used by Chapelfield Community Centre

   Stewards Lane Methodist is located at OS Grid Reference - SJ 500863
   Founded: 1892 Closed: 2004
   The original church was a corrugated iron structure built in 1892.
   Prior to this, meetings were held in a coach house at Chestnut Lodge.
   They shared their premises with St Thomas C of E from 1980.
   A brick building was built in 1959. This closed in 2004 and was demolished in 2005.
