Prior to 1785, the records were included with those of the mother church, Blackburn St Mary, on separate pages marked 'Tockholes Chapel'.

When the 1945 - 1990 Burial register was full, a new Register was begun but for some reason was not completed before another was started in March 1994. The incomplete Register is currently missing and so there is a four-year gap of missing entries. The list of burials 1990 - 1993 transcribed here has been compiled by Judith Jacklin using grave records and local knowledge, and is included here by kind permission. Some names on the headstones could be memorials only, but have been included for record purposes.
