	St Mark's, Worsley

A very attractive spire which can be seen from some distance away when travelling along the motorway that now skirts the parish. It is a grade II* listed church designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott. Built in 1846, it is Gothic revival in a 14th century style. (Source - Salford Council's description of conservation area around the Church).
