Original books were kept by Rev Mr Burgess: Book 1 (1752 - 1785); Book 2 (1785 - 1789); and Book 3 (1790 - 1802), despite Mr Burgess having left Hallfold Chapel in 1790. Entries in the last section overlap with a register kept by Rev. Mr George Towers between 1790 and 1794, and with a register dated 1797-1821.
