Burials at All Saints
in the Parish of Rainford

For the format of dates in Registers prior to 1752, see notes on the Julian Calendar

Burials for the period January 1765 to February 1772 have been recorded in two registers - the first covering 1718 to 1772 and the second 1765 to 1812. We have transcribed both registers in full which has resulted in an overlap. The burials for the overlapping period are the same in both registers although the spelling is often different with the older version of the burial using more 'phonetic' versions of names and the later one having a better standard of spelling of surnames, place names etc. For this reason searches may bring up the same event twice.
