	Blackleij in the pish of Manchester widdow both
	aboue the age of one and twentie years, by me
	by direction of the said pties in writinge first
	deliverd mee, published three severall Lords
	daies in the pish church of Prestwich afforesaid
	vizt one the 27th day of November and one the
	11th day of December 1653 accordinge to the late
	Acte of Parliament in that behalf made By mee
	John Glover pish Register Marriage solemnized
	before "Ri: Haworth" [Justice]
	[NOTE: The entries of "Purpose of Marriage" up to
	and including those on 2 p. 28 are in similar
	form and by John Glover aforesaid. All formal
	matter, therefore, common to all has been omitted.
	Wherever the name of the parish is omitted in
	this transcript it must be assumed that the
	residence is in Prestwich parish. The Marriages
	of persons who give notice of "Purpose of
	Marriage" are recorded on pp. 33-38 inclusive of
	this Original Volume, and from those pages has
	been extrated the name of the Justice before whom
	the Marriage was solemnised. And all other matter
	appearing in the marriage entry different from
	or additional to the matter contained in the
	"Purpose of Marriage" has been incorporated with
	the "Purpose of Marriage."]
