Interior of St Ann's Church, Manchester

Lady Ann Bland provided most of the money for the building of St Annís Church which was consecrated in July 1712.

It was built in a field known as Acres Field and this area is now known as St Annís Square.

Major renovation has been required over the years and the windows have been replaced, having taken full force of the IRA blast in 1996.

It is still a vibrant Church and visitors are very welcome.
