Church of England

    St Mary is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 839022
    Founded in 1839.
    The first church was built on the site in 1839, but destroyed by fire
    after being struck by lightening on 4th January 1872.
    The later church was demolished around 1977.
    Nada Lodge, housing association flats now occupy the land.

  2. St Matthew, Cleveland Road, Crumpsall, M8 4QU
    St Matthew is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 845024
    Founded in 1910.

  3. St Thomas, Hazelbottom Road, Crumpsall
    St Thomas is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 851016
    Founded in 1863.

Roman Catholic

  1. St Anne, Crescent Road, Crumpsall, M8 5UD
    St Anne is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 843018
    Founded in 1917. New church built in 1957.

Methodist

  1. James St Methodist Association, James Street, Crumpsall
    James St Methodist Association is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 851018
    Founded in 1838. Now closed.

  2. United Methodist Free Church, Lower Crumpsall, James Street, Crumpsall
    United Methodist Free Church, Lower Crumpsall is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 852017
    Founded in 1838. Closed in 1937.

Wesleyan Methodist

  1. Cheetham Hill Chapel (with cemetery), Fountain Street previously named Arlington St. Crumpsall, Crumpsall, M8 5BY
    Cheetham Hill Chapel (with cemetery) is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 839019
    Founded: Abt. 1809 Closed: 1872
    Earlier buildings include first preaching room and Sunday School at the same location.
    The first building was replaced in 1815 followed by a larger one in 1837.
    The cemetery no longer exists and the graves were exhumed in 2003.

  2. Cheetham Hill Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Bury Old Road, Crumpsall, M8 5DP
    Cheetham Hill Wesleyan Methodist Chapel is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 836021
    Founded: 1872 Closed: 1967
    This replaced Cheetham Hill Chapel and was erected about 200 metres to the north of the cemetery

  3. Lansdowne Rd Wesleyan Methodist, Lansdowne Road, Crumpsall Park, Crumpsall, M8 5SF
    Lansdowne Rd Wesleyan Methodist is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 844022
    Three churches have occupied the site.
    First founded 1866, second built in 1909 and the new church built c.1975.

  4. Waterloo Street Wesleyan Methodist, Waterloo Street, Lower Crumpsall, Crumpsall
    Waterloo Street Wesleyan Methodist is located at OS Grid Reference - SD 851016
    Founded before 1870. Closed late 1960's.
