All Hallows, Allerton
1876 - 1990
All Hallows, Allerton was consecrated on 10th August 1876. It had been erected largely at the expense of a sole benefactor, John Bibby of Hart Hill, Allerton. He built the church to serve the then sparsely populated area and in memory of his late wife who had been born on All Hallows Eve. The foundation stone was laid on All Hallows Eve, 1872. Details about All Hallows, its building, decoration and history are given in the following books in Liverpool Record Office Local Studies Collection.
