Died 16th December 1833 in the 83rd year of her age

Daughter of Rev. T. Baldwin A.M. (Buried in the center aisle of this church.)

CLAYTON T.M.

Died 17th March 1802 in his 20th year, at St. Vincent’s, West Indies.

Captain 37th Regiment of Foot.

BRETHERTON Humphrey Edward

Died 23rd April 1840 in his 21st year.

Eldest son of William Bretherton died in Paris and interred in the cemetery at Mont Parnasse.

Died 15th October 1910 succeeded to estate 28th February 1909

Son of Henry Ffarington of Wigan,! st squire and lord of the manor of Leyland. Of the youngest branch of the family of Ffarington of Worden and Shawe Hall.

Only surviving children of William and Hannah of Shawe Hall and the last representatives o the families of BRADSHAW o Pennington NOWELL of Altham. Elder Branch of the Family of Ffarington of Worden.

Born 10th June 1813; married 28th October 1847; died 6th June 1848

Last surviving son and heir of William Farington of Shawe Hall

Married MARGARET BRADSHAW daughter and sole heiress of John Bradshaw of Pennington

Erected by Captain Sir Robert BARRIE, R.N. caused this tablet to the memory of a Mother so deservedly endeared and to perpetuate the gratitude he feels to that parental guardian and Friend who affectionately supplied the place of the Father lost.
