Members of the Lancashire Online Parish Clerks project have been through the Bishop's Transcripts for this register in order to transcribe the Marriage witnesses and the Minister who performed the Marriages. This, and any further information found in the Bishop's Transcripts but not present in the transcribed registers, has been added to the data base. Some differences (e.g. in dates, names, abodes etc) were also found between the transcribed registers and the Bishop's Transcripts, and in these cases the different text from the Bishop's Transcripts is detailed in square brackets in the Notes. The Bishop's Transcripts also contained some Page and Entry numbers which are included. These may or may not be the same as those in the original registers and readers are advised to consult the registers to be sure of accuracy. The Source LDS number refers to the film of the Bishop's Transcripts.
