These Baptism records are Bishops Transcripts, from All Saints, Satterthwaite, near Hawkshead. A new Parish register was begun in 1893 with the first Entry on 2 April (Entry 1, Page 1). All the Entries in the Bishops Transcripts have their parish register Entry Nos from 1 to 61 (30 Aug 1903), and most have their Page No. as well. This enabled Page Nos to be allocated with confidence to the few Entry Nos which lacked them.
