These Baptism records are Bishop Transcripts from All Saints, Satterthwaite, near Hawkshead for the period 1813 to 1893. When transcribing, the Ministers were not consistent in including the Page and Entry Nos from the Parish Register. They recorded Page and Entry Nos for Page 1 (Entry Nos 1 - 7), and then for Pages 28 (Entry No. 223, 7 Jan 1838) to 100 (last page, Entry No. 800, 19 Mar 1893) excepting a few Page No. omissions in this period which could be confidently estimated. Outside of those times, the Ministers transcribed only Entry Nos 115 (12 Feb 1826) to 193 (31 Nov 1834). There were no Page Nos accompanying these Entry Nos. However, the number of records between Entry No 7 and Entry No. 115 shows that, at most, one Entry was missed between 1813 and 1826. For this reason, Page Nos have been estimated (based on 8 entries per page) for the Entry Nos 115 to 193. Entry Nos 144, 151, 152, 488, and 489, were missing from the Bishops Transcripts.
