The registers of Kearsley St Stephen were transcribed in 1998 by Derek Yates, then a member of Bolton Genealogy Group (now disbanded). The registers have not been filmed, but were loaned to Bolton Genealogy Group by the Vicar of St Stephen so the contents could be made more widely available to family history researchers. Derek Yates has kindly and freely given access to his electronic database of transcriptions, which are reproduced here in LAN-OPC format. Paper copies of the transcripts are also available in Bolton Library.

The transcripts do not have register page or entry numbers, nor names ofthe ministers who performed the ceremonies and whether the marriages were by Banns or Licence.
