These records for 1855 to 1857 are Marriages from the Bishops Transcripts of the Parish Registers for Dalton in Furness. Although these records cover only three years, two Parish Registers are involved. The first is the last part of of an earlier Register and is from Page 241 Entry 482 (6 Jan 1855) to Page 250 Entry 500 (2 Jun 1855). The second Register begins 7 Jun 1855 (Page 1, Entry 1) and the transcribed records finish on 29 Dec 1857 (Page 46, Entry 92). Almost all the records have Page and Entry numbers and there is no evidence of missing records within the period transcribed.
