All that part of the township of Great Bolton which lies on the Western side of the Manchester road, commencing with the house occupied by W Howell, as far as the Height, comprising Rose Hill, west of the turnpike road, Wellington Place, Shakespear's Court, Newport Terrace, the south side of Bridgeman Street, as far as the corner of Sidney Street ending with the house occupied by Peter Smethurst in Sidney Street.
