The District of Deane, Bolton in the County of -- Lancashire --

Deane is one of the original parishes in the Salford Hundred, In its original form it included the townships of Rumworth, Horwich, Heaton, Halliwell, Westhoughton, Little Hulton, Middle Hulton, Over Hulton, Farnworth and Kearsley, though now, it is just a district in the town of Bolton.
